The Emporia High girls golf team is a week away from beginning their season.
Coach Rick Eckert has 5 golfers out and returns State qualifiers, Avary Eckert and Olivia Eckert.
Avary Eckert would like to see her play continue to improve.
Olivia Eckert hopes the work she put in during the summer pays off.
Also on the team are Ella Fessler, Lacy Rust and McKenna Haynes.
Emporia High will be hosting a tournament next Tuesday.
