The Emporia State football team will hold a special practice Thursday evening for boosters.
One of the players the boosters will get to visit with is quarterback Braden Gleason. Gleason started the final 2 games of 2019 in wins over Missouri Southern and Central Oklahoma.
Junior Transfer Jack Diamond is one of the quarterbacks battling for the backup spot. He says practicing all of 2020 has been a benefit.
The Hornets will take Friday off, hold a mock game Saturday and then begin preparing for the season opener against Northeastern State on September 4th.
