The MIAA has released the preseason mens and womens cross country polls.
The Emporia State men are ranked 8th. Missouri Southern is the top-ranked team followed by Northwest Missouri State, Nebraska Kearney, Pittsburg State, and Central Missouri in the top 5.
The Emporia State women are ranked 9th. Pittsburg State is ranked number 1 followed by Central Missouri, Missouri Southern, Washburn, and Nebraska Kearney in the top 5.
The Emporia State cross country teams open their seasons next Saturday in the Wichita State J-K Gold Classic.
