The Kansas City Chiefs wrapped up the preseason with a 28-25 win over the Minnesota Vikings Friday night.
Patrick Mahomes connected with Tyreek Hill for a 35-yard scoring play on the first drive and the Chiefs never trailed.
Blake Bell scored on a 5-yard pass from Mahomes.
Mahomes said they did a little more pregame planning.
Mahomes also gave credit to the offensive line.
The Chiefs took a 21-3 lead on a 23-yard pass from Shane Buechele to Marcus Kemp.
The final score came on a 56-yard catch and run by running back Derrick Gore.
Chiefs Coach Andy Reid called it a good night.
The Chiefs finished the preseason 3-0 and will kick off the season on September 12th when they host Cleveland.
