Lyon County’s latest monthly vehicle tag deadline is coming this week.
Tuesday is the day for Lyon County residents with last names ending in the letters M, N or O to renew tags without penalty.
Residents can wait in line at the Motor Vehicle Office inside the Lyon County Courthouse or they can get in line virtually by using the county’s QLess system. Residents can text “Lyon County Motor Vehicle” to 620-254-9998, download the QLess app, visit the county’s website at www.lyoncounty.org or use the kiosk pad right outside the Motor Vehicle Office. Residents can also pay online, by mail or through the Lyon County Courthouse dropbox.
Office hours are 8 am to 4:30 pm weekdays.
