A good start to the season for the Emporia High volleyball team.
They swept Topeka High 25-9, 25-19 and swept Highland Park 25-8, 25-4 Tuesday night.
Coach Ping Wang was encouraged by the start.
The Lady Spartans will play at Highland Park Thursday and will also play Topeka West and Junction City.
