He was a 3 time All-American and the 1998 Harlan Hill Award Winner.
When he finished his playing days he was the All-Time leading rusher for all NCAA levels.
He finished his career with 6,958 rushing yards. He had 9,301 all-purpose yards
During his career, he set 17 NCAA Division II records and 5 All Division records.
He rushed for over 200 yards in 15 games. He scored 81 rushing touchdowns and 88 total touchdowns for 544 points.
As a senior, he rushed for an Emporia State and MIAA record 2265 yards and 29 touchdowns.
As a junior, he scored 32 total touchdowns.
As a Sophomore he became the first Emporia State running back to rush for over 2000 yards in a season.
He was the first Division II player to lead the nation in scoring, rushing, and all-purpose yards.
He is in the Emporia State hall of honor, Kansas Sports Hall of Fame, Kansas State High School Activities Associaton Hall of Fame, and the MIAA Hall of Fame.
