Emporia City Commissioners are meeting Wednesday morning.
Among the agenda items will be discussions on submitting a repair project for the city’s raw water intake and the Neosho low water dam to FEMA for reimbursement. Both the intake and dam were damaged during flooding back in 2019.
Commissioners will also discuss a proposal for a redevelopment project in the 700 block of Commercial Street.
An update on disc golf in the city of Emporia and a new electronic sign for the Emporia Public Library will also see discussions. The meeting begins at 10:30 am inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
