The latest travel quarantine list from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment removes two foreign countries.
Martinique and Georgia were removed, meaning French Polynesia and Guadeloupe are the countries remaining on the list. The latest travel quarantine time periods are as follows:
*Traveled on or after Aug. 27 to French Polynesia or Guadeloupe
*Traveled between July 29 and Sept. 9 to Martinique.
*Traveled between Aug. 27 and Sept. 9 to Georgia.
*Attendance at any out-of-state or in-state mass gatherings of 500 or more where individuals do not socially distance (6 feet) and wear a mask.
*Been on a cruise ship or river cruise on or after March 15, 2020.
Fully-vaccinated residents, meaning residents who are two weeks past their final vaccine dose, do not have to quarantine if they have remained asymptomatic since they traveled. People who had COVID-19 in the past also don’t have to quarantine — if they have test evidence of a prior infection, are within six months of their infection and have remained asymptomatic since they traveled.
The quarantine periods for unvaccinated or partially-vaccinated residents are seven days with a negative test or 10 days without testing. For international travel, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention requires COVID-19 tests within three days of flights into the United States.
