The Friends of the Emporia Public Library’s annual fall book sale is back on the community calendar and officially begins Saturday.
The book sale will run until next Thursday beginning with the friends members-only sale Saturday from 11 am to 1 pm. This will be the library’s first sale since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Friends President Dee Schwinn says they’re excited to have the sale back up and running.
The Friends group are not the only ones excited for the sale’s return as EPL Director Robin Newell says the funds generated from the sale provide a major boost to the library each year.
