The Cross Country teams will be hosting a meet in Jones Park.
The varsity girls are scheduled to start at 10:10. The varsity boys are scheduled to start at 10:40.
The Emporia High girls tennis team will be hosting a tournament with play beginning at 9 am.
The Emporia High volleyball team will be playing in the Valley Center Invitational. The Lady Spartans are 7-0 to start the season. They will play Wichita Southeast, Olathe North, Bishop Carroll, and Valley Center in pool play. Junior Rebecca Snyder says they are ready for the challenges.
The Emporia High boys soccer team will be playing Hays for 3rd place at the Wichita South Titan Classic. Sophomore Edwin Maciel scored two goals and had an assist in the win over Salina Central Wednesday.
The Emporia High gymnastics team will be competing in the Shawnee Mission Northwest Invitational. Senior Hadley Mertens will be competing on the balance beam and vault.
