The Emporia State volleyball was 1-1 Friday at the Fort Hays State Tiger Classic.
They lost to Adams State in 3 sets 25-20, 25-22, 25-20.
They defeated Black Hills State in 5 sets for their first win of the season – 25-21, 20-25, 25-17, 22-25, and 16-14.
Shelby Ebert led the offense with 21 kills. Megan Stretton added 14 kills.
Saturday the Lady Hornets play Southwest Minnesota State and Cameron in the Tiger Classic.
