The Kansas City Royals were winners Friday night outscoring the Minnesota Twins 6-4 in 11 innings.
It was Andrew Benintendi night. He hit a game-winning 2 run home run in the top of the 11th. He started the night with a 3 run home run in the 1st inning and scored a run in the 4th on a double by Michael A. Taylor.
Benintendi finished the night going 4 for 5 with 5 RBI and 3 runs scored.
