The Kansas Manufacturing Council is bringing its Making Kansas Bus Tour to Emporia.
The tour stop will be Thursday from 3-4:30 pm at Sauder Custom Fabrication, 222 Weaver. The goal of the tour is to highlight the state’s manufacturing industry along with career opportunities in the field.
KMC is encouraging local officials, educators, parents, students and media representatives to ride the bus when it comes to town. The tour is hosted by KMC, Kansas Manufacturing Solutions and the Kansas Chamber.
