It will be a busy day for Emporia High athletes Tuesday.
The Boys Soccer team hosts Topeka Hayden in their home opener.
Junior Rudy Bedolla is looking forward to the first home match.
The Spartans take a 3-1 record into the match. Varsity kick-off is set for 6:15 at Emporia High School.
The Volleyball team goes to Manhattan and will also play Topeka Seaman. The Lady Spartans take a 9-2 record into the matches. Coach Ping Wang has been encouraged by the start.
The Girls’ golf team will be playing in the Newton Invitational at Sand Creek Station. Junior Avary Eckert says she is looking forward to Tuesday’s tournament.
The Girls’ tennis team will be playing in a quad at Andover Central, which will also include, Andover and Kapaun Mt. Carmel. Coach Saul Trujillo says they are improving.
And the gymnastics team is scheduled to compete in a meet at Olathe South.
