The 2022 City of Emporia budget could see finalization Wednesday evening.
The Emporia City Commission will hold a public hearing on the budget and the revenue-neutral rate for fiscal year 2022. Following the hearings, commissioners could approve separate resolutions to both exceed the RNR and finalize the budget.
Commissioners will also consider approving the submittal of an application to the Kansas Housing Resources Corporation for MIH program funding. Commissioners may also set a public hearing date for a redevelopment project involving three lots in the 700 block of Commercial as part of the city’s RHID program.
One executive session is also planned.
The meeting will begin at 7 pm inside the Municipal Courtroom at White Auditorium.
