Over 230 years after it was approved, the US Constitution continues to guide America forward — and Flint Hills Technical College will mark Constitution Day with several activities bracketing the upcoming weekend.
On KVOE’s Tech Talk this week, Flint Hills Technical College President Caron Daugherty said the college will have a speaker series, with noted guests Thursday, Friday and Monday.
Schreiber and Longbine will appear from 3-4 pm Thursday. After that, 76th District Representative Eric Smith will discuss Constitutional Rights and Law Enforcement from 11:30 am to 12:30 pm Friday. On Monday, 51st District Representative Ron Highland will touch on Constitutional Language between 11:30 am and 12:30 pm.
All three presentations will be at the college’s main campus R-Tech auditorium, Room M-117. All three discussions are open to the public.
