The Kansas City Royals rallied from a 6-0 deficit to outscored the Oakland A’s 10-7 Tuesday night.
The Royals began the rally in the 3rd inning scoring 3 runs on singles by Whit Merrifield and Salvador Perez and a ground out by Adalberto Mondesi.
Hunter Dozier hit a solo home run in the 4th inning. As part of a 4 run 6th inning, Salvador Perez hit his 43rd home run of the season a 3 run home run to give the Royals an 8-7 lead.
Kyle Isbel hit a 2 run home run in the 7th. His first career home run.
The Royals and A’s play again Wednesday night. Mike Minor will be the starting pitcher with the first pitch set for 7:10 pm. The game will be broadcast on KVOE 1400AM/96.9FM.
