Lyon County commissioners breezed through their action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners approved the purchase of two road graders for the Lyon County Highway Department. Murphy Tractor and Equipment was approved with a total cost of over $125,000.
Commissioners also approved a grant application letter of support from LCAT to the Kansas Department of Transportation for capital outlay funding.
A decision on an abandoned fence at Roads 70 and P-5 was tabled so landowners could appear. The public hearing and vote are now set for Oct. 14.
Commissioners have an action session planned Sept. 23 in the County Courthouse.
