The question of who will be the next head girls basketball coach at Olpe high School after the retirement of Jesse Nelson last season is now being answered. And the answer is Ron Slaymaker.
Coach Slaymaker most recently was the head girls basketball coach at Chase County High School and was also the Head men’s basketball coach at Emporia State for 28 years. Coach Slaymaker says he will take one game at a time.
Coach Slaymaker takes over for the first player he recruited as head coach at Emporia State.
