Baylor outscored Kansas 45-7 in the Big-12 opener for both teams Saturday.
Baylor turned it on in the second half scoring 31 unanswered points. Kansas trailed only 14-7 at halftime. The lone score for the Jayhawks was a 5-yard touchdown pass from Jason Bean to Trevor Wilson in the 2nd quarter. KU finished with 166 yards of total offense.
Kansas plays at Duke next Saturday.
