Emporia High cross country runs in Bonner Springs Invitational

The Emporia High cross country teams ran in the Bonner Springs Invitational Saturday.
The girls finished in 2nd place with 5 runners finishing in the top 11. Elizabeth Willhite finished 4th, Sophia Ruvalcaba 5th, and Micah Sheffy-Harris finished in 6th place. Maryn True finished in 10th place and Avery Gutierrez finished in 11th place.
The Emporia High boys finished in 4th place. They were led by Daghyn True who finished in 4th place and Jonathan Laudie finished in 7th place.
The Emporia High Cross Country teams go to Augusta next Saturday.
