An Americus man was killed in a traffic crash in Chatauqua County on Monday.
Richard Wilson was driving a semi southbound on Kansas Highway 99 when the truck went off the highway in a construction zone about four miles south of Moline shortly before 7 am. Wilson overcorrected and rolled, crushing the semi’s cab in the process.
Wilson was wearing his seatbelt and was the only person in the truck when the crash happened. He was 65.
