Lyon County commissioners have infrastructure maters ahead for their weekly action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will discuss two matters related to an announcement earlier this month the county will receive over $600,000 to replace a bridge on Road J between Roads 210 and the Kansas Turnpike about three miles north of Emporia. Commissioners will consider an agreement with BG Consultants for design work and an agreement with the Kansas Department of Transportation to replace the bridge.
Also, commissioners will consider work on the Lyon County Extension Building at an estimated total of $6,700 from Rodriguez Dry Wall and Painting.
Five executive sessions are planned.
The meeting starts at 9 am in the County Courthouse.
