The Emporia State volleyball team hosts Central Missouri in their home opener Thursday night. This will be the 3rd ranked team the Lady Hornets have played in their last 4 matches. Central Missouri is ranked 7th in this week’s national coaches poll. The Lady Hornets have struggled this season, Coach Bing Xu says the record does not show it but they have been improving.
The Lady Hornets are coming off a loss to number 1 ranked Washburn. Coach Bing Xu said there were encouraging signs.
First serve at White Auditorium is set for 6 pm.
