The Emporia State volleyball team was defeated by 7th ranked Central Missouri in 4 sets.
Emporia State won the 1st set 25-21. Central Missouri won the 2nd set 25-15, the 3rd set 25-17, and the 4th set 25-13.
Emporia State Coach Bing Xu says they need to be more consistent.
Shelby Ebert led the Lady Hornets with 12 kills. Riley Bernskoetter had 23 assists and Rylie Fornelli had 29 digs.
Emporia State, 2-9,0-4, is off until next Friday when they host Central Oklahoma.
