The Emporia High cross country teams will be running at Augusta, the site for this years 5A State meet.
This years team features a brother and sister who are following in the footsteps of two successful older brothers.
Junior Maryn True and freshman Daghyn True are continuing the family tradition of running cross country. Kyler and Treyson are both now running at KU.
Maryn said both have been an inspiration.
Daghyn said what his brothers accomplished has been a motivator.
Next week Emporia High goes to Winfield.
The Emporia High volleyball team will be playing in the Burlington Invitational today.
Senior Hattie Cooper says this has been a fun season.
The Lady Spartans are 13 and 4 going into the tournament.
