Pretrial is next on the docket for a man accused of sexually exploiting a child.
During a hearing in Lyon County District Court Tuesday afternoon, 23-year-old Wyatt Bennett pled not guilty to four counts of aggravated indecent liberties, two of indecent liberties and two of criminal sodomy. Bennett will next have a pretrial hearing on Dec. 3 at 2 pm. Between now and then Bennett will undergo a sex offender evaluation.
The legal complaint released by Lyon County District Court to KVOE News indicates Bennett had sex with a 15-year-old teenager and illegally touched the teen between November 2019 and November 2020. The affidavit, or event narrative, is sealed.
