Sara Evans is coming to Emporia.
Granada Theatre Director Rebeca Herrera had the announcement on KVOE’s 8:05 am newscast Wednesday.
The concert is on Nov. 11, continuing the theater’s recent tradition of a Veterans Day or Veterans Tribute Week concert. Tickets begin at $65 and will go available to the general public at 11 am Friday. Friends of the Granada members have tickets available as of 11 am Wednesday.
Evans has five No. 1 singles to her credit — “No Place That Far,” “Suds in the Bucket,” “A Real Fine Place to Start,” “Born to Fly” and “A Little Bit Stronger.” She has also won numerous honors from the Grammy Awards, American Music Awards, Billboard, Country Music Association and CMT.
