A Melvern man has been arrested on suspicion of drug distribution and other counts.
Osage County Sheriff Chris Wells says deputies and investigators did a narcotics search warrant in the 800 block of Southwest Main Street in Melvern on Thursday morning. Deputies later arrested 37-year-old Jeffrey Meade on suspicion of distributing methamphetamine, possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal use of a weapon.
Wells says Meade’s arrest followed a lengthy narcotics investigation. Further details about that investigation are pending. Formal charges have not been announced.
