The Lyon County Highway Department is planning a road reconstruction project near Emporia beginning next week.
On Monday, crews will start rebuilding the curve in the southwest corner of the Road 160 and N junction, also known as East Logan and N. Both the curve and Road N south from 160 to 150 will be closed for about two weeks. The Highway Department says Road 160’s eastbound lane will be closed in the work area, but the westbound lane will be open.
Meanwhile, the Highway Department has reopened Road 170, which had been undergoing a construction project between Roads F and G the past two weeks.
