The Sertoma Club of Emporia navigated past the coronavirus pandemic for the second straight year with its annual scholarship breakfast fundraiser.
Club member Elton Jensen enjoyed serving the residents that went through the line.
Proceeds also go to the college and university general scholarship funds. Fundraising totals should be announced in the next few days.
Club members cooked meals inside the Emporia Senior Center but left the rest of the building alone with the facility officially closed until Oct. 12 due to coronavirus. Residents lined up in a drive-thru format to pick up their meals.
