The man hurt in a head-on crash outside Bushong last week has died.
Steve Pio, age 73 of Allen, was northbound on Road G when his pickup went left of center Sept. 28 and went head-on into a pickup driven by 51-year-old Jeff Houck of Americus.
Houck was not hurt, but Pio was taken to Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka with suspected serious injuries. He passed away Sunday.
Lyon County deputies have been investigating the crash. Road dust was listed as a contributing factor to the crash, but other details have not been released. Funeral arrangements are pending.
