The Emporia High gymnastics team finished in 2nd place out of 7 teams at the Shawnee Mission South Invitational Tuesday.
Individually for Emporia High Journey Walburn finished 4th all-around, 4th on the Floor exercise, 6th on the vault, and 8th on both the bars and beam.
Cadance Vincent placed 3rd on the vault.
Laney Cooper tied for 7th on the vault and placed 7th on the beam and 8th on the floor exercise.
Amber Obermeyer placed 9th on the floor exercise and Hadleigh Mertens placed 10th on the beam.
The Lady Spartans have 1 more meet before state that will be at Newton on Saturday.
