Next month, the Cut returns to Flint Hills Technical College with some familiar faces in the kitchen.
The college announced that the fifth installment of the popular cooking competition, modeled after the Food Network’s long-running program Chopped, will be an all-star competition. This means the past four winners will be making a return to the FHTC kitchen to determine the champion among champions.
FHTC Alumni/Annual Fund Coordinator Andrea Cahoone says she cannot wait to see these alumni return.
The returning competitors include 2017 winner Kati Beaty, 2018 winner Jacob Holmes, 2019 winner Drew Bonnet and 2020 winner Addyson Bachura.
The Cut will take place Thursday, Nov. 4 and due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this year’s watch party, sponsored by Radius Brewing Company, will take place outdoors in a tent located in the college’s south parking lot. Tickets for the watch party are $15 per person and can be purchased by visiting FHTCTheCut2021.givesmart.com.
