The Emporia State women have been picked 4th in both the MIAA Coaches and Media preseason polls. The Emporia State men have been picked 7th in the Media poll and 9th in the Coaches poll.
Emporia State womens Coach Toby Wynn says he has a motivated group of players.
The Lady Hornets do return 4 starters from last years team including the MIAA player of the Year Tre’Zure Jobe.
Also returning is Kali Martin who missed 8 games last season with a knee injury.
Coach Toby Wynn says they will be able to play a more up-tempo style this season.
