Lyon County commissioners have infrastructure matters as their focus for the weekly action meeting Thursday.
Commissioners will discuss bids for a bridge deck replacement on Road Z near the APAC-Shears quarry south of Hartford. Separately, they will also discuss returning a former Kansas Highway 99 horseshoe configuration north of the Neosho River bridge — and on the west side of the current K-99 — to gravel, giving directions to the Lyon County Highway Department in the process.
In other business, commissioners will consider a tabled motion from last week to approve web-based planning, zoning and floodplain permits through a partnership with Schneider Geospatial. Commissioners will consider the findings of a recent fence view at Roads 70 and P-5. Three executive sessions are also planned, two for non-elected personnel and one for legal matters.
The meeting is at 9 am at the County Courthouse.
