A Council Grove man was arrested this week on suspicion of stealing a farm tractor.
Morris County Sheriff Jay Simecka says deputies took a report of the tractor theft from just outside Wilsey on Tuesday. The investigation led deputies to obtain a search warrant for 1594 South 1300 Road, or between Wilsey and Council Grove. Simecka says the warrant led to the discovery of the tractor and the arrest of 41-year-old Clyde Pollock.
Besides being arrested on suspicion of felony theft, Pollock was also booked on suspicion of possession of methamphetamine — along with an outstanding felony warrant for meth possession. Pollock was also arrested on suspicion of marijuana possession, interference with law enforcement and vehicle registration violations.
