Moderate case increases continued in Lyon County Public Health’s latest coronavirus data report Friday.
Public Health reported 27 new cases, even with Wednesday’s report and higher than Monday’s report of five new cases. This brings the overall case total to 5,465.
17 recoveries were also noted increasing the active case total by 10 to 84. Of those 84 active cases 15 are considered breakthroughs.
Collectively, Public Health has identified 212 total collective breakthrough cases. 110 individuals were vaccinated with Moderna, 57 with Johnson & Johnson and 45 with Pfizer.
Deaths were unchanged at 90 with one case pending final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment. Active hospitalizations dipped from two to one.
