The Flint Hills and Lyon County Leagues held their cross country meets Thursday.
In the Flint Hills League girls meet Emma Bailey of West Franklin finished in 1st place.
Jordyn Picolet of Council Grove finished in 2nd place.
Teagan Hines of Northern Heights finished in 9th place.
Hannah Jones of Osage City finished in 10th place. Grace Newland of Chase County finished in 14th place.
West Franklin won the team championship.
In the boys’ race, Kodi Downs of Council Grove finished in 1st place.
AJ Rubio of Mission Valley finished in 2nd place.
Brayden Marcotte of Lyndon finished 6th, Cooper Hamlin of Northern Heights finished in 7th place.
Josiah Smith of Osage City finished 11th and Cooper Schroer of Chase County finished in 14th place.
In the Lyon County League girls race, Kennah Speer of Lebo finished in 1st place. Lily Hudson of Madison finished in 2nd place and Josie Orear of Olpe finished in 3rd place. There were no team scores.
In the boys’ race Lebos Colin Whalen finished in 1st place, Caleb Durst finished 2nd.
Cody Cleveland of Hartford finished in 3rd place. Connor Kueser of Olpe finished in 4th place.
Lebo won the boys’ title.
