Lyon County residents have a chance to cast their ballot ahead of the Nov. 2 general election this weekend.
The now-traditional offsite voting event will take place at the Fairgrounds Anderson Building from 9 am to 2 pm Saturday. Voters need a valid photo ID to cast their ballots.
Lyon County Election Office workers have been sending out mail ballots since Wednesday, and residents have until Oct. 26 to request a mail ballot. Advance voting at the Lyon County Courthouse will begin Monday and continue 8 am to 5 pm weekdays until noon Nov. 1.
