Three people were hurt, including one with potentially serious injuries, after a crash just south of Emporia on Friday afternoon.
Emporia Fire and Lyon County deputies responded to Roads 150 and K before 3 pm. Deputy James Baker says the driver was on Road 150 and lost control of her pickup on the gravel road. The driver then overcorrected, sending her truck into a ditch where it struck a culvert and landed on its top.
The driver had to be extricated from the truck. She was taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected serious injuries. Two passengers were taken to Newman Regional Health with suspected minor injuries.
Names have not been released. Lyon County deputies are investigating the crash.
