An Emporia woman and two Olpe residents were transported from the scene of a vehicle accident south of Emporia Friday afternoon.
According to the Lyon County Sheriff’s Office, a 2004 Ford F-150 pickup driven by 55-year-old Malene Lamoureux of Emporia was westbound on Road 150 when Lamoureux lost control on the gravel road. The pickup then slid into a ditch and struck a culvert.
