The Emporia State soccer team suffered their first loss of the season Friday night. They were outscored by Central Oklahoma 2-1.
The Lady Hornets scored 1st on a goal by Mackenzie Dimarco 1:27 into the match.
Central tied the match in the 14th minute of play and took the lead on a penalty kick in the 15th minute of play.
The Lady Hornets did have chances outshooting Central 18-10 and 10-5 on goal.
They will try to bounce back Sunday when they play at Newman.
