A Manhattan man suffered apparently non-life-threatening injuries in a Lyon County wreck shortly after 10 pm Saturday night.
Lyon County Sgt. Zach Shafer says deputies and Emporia/Lyon County EMS went to the 1300 block of Road M, about a mile south of Emporia. The investigation shows 32-year-old Jamie Soto was driving a pickup southbound on Road M when he went off the road for currently unlisted reasons. His truck hit a culvert.
Soto was not wearing his seatbelt at the time of the crash. He was taken by ambulance to Newman Regional Health for observation and treatment.
