No injuries were reported after an incident in east Emporia on Tuesday.
Emporia Fire and local law enforcement went to the junction of Interstate 35 and East US Highway 50 for a reported semi fire around 7:30 am. Battalion Chief Tony Fuller says overheated brakes led to the fire call.
Fuller reports minimal damage to the semi.
