The Kansas Leadership Center has announced its Leadership Transformation Grant recipients, and an Emporia-based organization is among the new groups on the list.
CrossWinds Counseling and Wellness is receiving an unspecified amount as part of the program, which is designed to “create a culture that embraces change, tackles problems and seizes opportunities.”
Child Care Aware of Kansas, Girl Scouts of Kansas Heartland and Goodwill Industries of Kansas, all of which have headquarters elsewhere but serve the KVOE listening area, are also getting Leadership Transformation grants of unspecified amounts.
Emporia State University is receiving continued grant funding through the program, as are several other organizations with ties to the area, including Greenbusy-Southeast Kansas Education Service Center, the Catholic Diocese of Wichita, Kansas Democratic Party and Saint Francis Ministries.
