Mackenzie Dimarco scored 2 goals in the second half to lift the Emporia State soccer team to a 3-1 win over Missouri Southern Friday afternoon.
Emporia State scored first on a goal by Gaby Crowell in the 18th minute of play.
Southern would tie the match with 3:40 to play in the first half.
Mackenzie Dimarco broke the tie with a breakaway goal with 14:11 to play in the 2nd half. She would add the second goal with 2:35 to play in the match.
With the win, the Lady Hornets are now 13-1-1 for the season and 7-1 in MIAA play. They will host Central Missouri Sunday afternoon.
