A modest increase in Lyon County’s COVID-19 caseload and a reduction in active cases highlight Monday’s report from Lyon County Public Health.
Lyon County announced 15 new cases over the weekend. Active cases went from 73 to 70, with 19 cases considered as breakthroughs involving fully vaccinated residents.
The number of deaths remains at 90. The number of deaths awaiting final cause information from the Kansas Department of Health and Environment is two. Active hospitalizations remain at three.
Lyon County has now recorded 5,544 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic started in March 2020.
