Greenwood County deputies have arrested two people after reports of burglaries across the north half of the county.
Deputies say they executed a search warrant at a currently unspecified address in Hamilton on Saturday, recovering property from seven burglaries in the Hamilton, Quincy and Virgil areas as well as drugs and paraphernalia.
Deputies arrested Deven Clark, 34, on suspicion of seven counts of burglary, four counts of misdemeanor theft, three counts of felony theft and numerous other counts. Clark already has numerous convictions in Greenwood County ranging from theft to burglary to criminal possessing a weapon to arson.
Deputies also arrested 43-year-old Michelle Harber on suspicion of seven counts of felony interference of law law enforcement by concealing evidence of a felony crime, four counts of misdemeanor possession of stolen property and two counts of felony possession of stolen property.
Word on formal charges is pending in this case.
